Who we are
This website is operated by MikeTech Services ("we", "us"), trading as MikeTech Shades, at 7314 Laurel Canyon Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91605. You can reach us at Admin@miketechservices.com or (702) 927-2537.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the quote form we collect your name, phone number, city and the type of shade you are interested in. If you email or call us, we keep what you tell us.
- Approximate city. When you open the home page, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) tells the page which city your internet connection appears to come from, so we can show local information. It is not stored, not linked to you, and is often only approximate.
- Usage information. If analytics are enabled we collect anonymous statistics about which pages are visited, how visitors arrived and which device they used. This is aggregate information and does not identify you by name.
What we do with it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule and carry out work, and keep records of jobs we have done. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run this site and our business, and only to the extent they need it: our website host, our form provider, and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure aggregate traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to answer it and, where work goes ahead, for as long as needed for warranty and service records.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Admin@miketechservices.com and we will respond.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
